Help with a donation

Help the Book Book with a donation

The work of the Book Bus is funded entirely through voluntary donations. Our generous donors have helped over 10,000 children worldwide improve their reading since 2006. In 2015/16 we are raising funds to build more libraries for local communities and buy more relevant and engaging books for children.Quentin Blake girl with book pile illustration

Each purchase generates a donation. So instead of going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising first and choose the retailer you want to shop with – then everything you spend with that retailer earns a free donation for the Book Bus.

It’s completely free to use and your shopping won’t cost you a penny more. On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping - and those donations soon mount up.

Foreign Flavours by Writers Abroad

Foreign flavours by Writers Abroad in aid of the Book Bus

A rich mix of fiction, fact and recipes about food, drink and cooking from around the world. Written, edited and produced by expat writers. Foreword written by Alexander McCall Smith and all proceeds will be donated to the Book Bus Charity.

This is Writers Abroad's second anthology, a tantalizing collection of fiction and non-fiction, full of spice and flavour and sprinkled with mouth-watering recipes. The wide-ranging, sometimes bittersweet, contributions show how adaptable an ex-pat has to be to leave familiar dishes behind and venture into the culinary unknown.

Writers Abroad is a virtual community of ex-pat writers, living in all corners of the world. They are committed to developing their craft through constructive criticism and feedback, encouragement and a meeting of minds.

Thanks go to all members of Writers Abroad who have contributed to this publication - in one way or another - providing their time and expertise freely. www.writersabroad.com

All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the Book Bus. To purchase visit: www.lulu.com/product/paperback/foreign-flavours/18192264
